About
AGO...
AGO playing cards are created and designed by New Zealander Leon Butchers in Takarazuka, Japan and published by AGO Educational Ltd.
The name 'AGO' represents the three color coded card levels (Aqua, Green, and
Orange), and the Japanese word for English, "Eigo".
AGO Q&A series (1st edition) was nominated for an ELTon award in 2012. The ELTon awards recognise excellence,
innovation and practicality in English language education materials, and are hosted by the British Council,
in collaboration with the University of Cambridge TESOL examinations.
